Pigeon Coo-lette
Pigeon Coo-lette is a Russian Roulette rhythm/memory game themed around pigeons that I created alongside a small group of classmates in the class Rapid Idea Prototyping for Games with Mustafa Feyyaz Sonbudak at Northeastern University. As one of the first games I've ever made, it taught me so much about what goes into designing and making games. It's available for free on Steam and has 94% positive reviews, so go check it out!
I led the ideation process for the project, and came up with the initial concept and mechanics for a memory/rhythm game that quickly escalates in difficulty. I was inspired by Buckshot Roulette's black comedy death-game aesthetic, and wanted to combine it with a rhythm game mechanic for a different kind of challenge. I managed the programming side of the project, facilitating communication with the rest of the team and coding some of the gun and distraction mechanics, and parts of the dialogue and level systems.
